Internet or Wifi in your Canal Boat or Narrowboat
If you want to watch Netflix or Amazon Prime you will benefit from having a good WiFi connection. Our mobile WiFi system, the Roam will provide a consistent and reliable connection wherever you are. The Roam uses a powerful antenna and a router, it helps you to get better internet in two ways.
• Primarily the Roam uses 3G or 4G mobile data in order to create a reliable WiFi hotspot. By using the antenna it can often pick up usable signals where your phone can’t.
• Secondly where a direct WiFi source is available the Roam can be used to connect to an existing WiFi hotspot. This ensures sim card data is only used where necessary.
Satellite TV in your Canal Boat or Narrowboat
The VuQube is an automatic satellite system. It can be mounted permanently to the roof of your boat. Because of its performance and fully enclosed design it is our best selling satellite system for narrowboats or canal boats.
Terrestrial TV
If you’re looking to watch terrestrial TV then we recommend our Gazelle TV aerial. The low profile and streamline design makes this the perfect aerial for boats.
The Omnimax TV aerial is also a very popular TV aerial for canal boats and narrowboats. This is because it can be mounted almost anywhere. We have our range mounting options to suit your application. (see below) Both the Gazelle and Omnimax are available in white or grey.
Additional Canal Boat Accessories
The weatherproof socket gives an external entry point into the side of your boat. Available in several variants to suit your application including terrestrial TV, Satellite or SMA connections. SMA connections make it ideal when using the Roam Antenna with the Roam Bracket Fixing Kit click here to allow for a temporary connection or where entry into the roof is not possible.
It can also be used for other applications where an external SMA connection is required.
