- My Magic Remote is not recognised, what can I do?
If you have purchased a Magic Remote at a later date, or if you have reset the remote or changed the batteries, it may be necessary to pair the remote control with the TV set again. To do this, point the remote control at the TV set and hold down the [GUIDE]button. After about 10-15 seconds, the TV set should display a message confirming the pairing. - The picture is too dark, what can I do?
Check the TV set’s power settings. To do this, press the[Settings] button on the remote control and open the following path:All Settings >General > Energy savingNow check which energy-saving mode is set. The higher this is (e.g. maximum), the less power the unit consumes and the darker the display.
- How can I reset my TV set?
To do this, go to the settings and select the following path:Settings > All settings > General > System > Restore factory settings.
- Is my device equipped with the latest software?
All TV sets with webOS Hub as the operating system receive their updates exclusively via OTA in connection with a network (Internet access). To view the current software status and check whether an update is available, please proceed as follows:Settings > All settings > Support > Software update
In addition to this, the TV set will automatically inform you with a message when a new update is available. Since webOS Hub is constantly being developed further, updates with new features or further improvements with regard to features or speed are also available here at regular intervals.
- My Wi-Fi connection is bad, what can I do?
Check the back of theTV set and whether the Wi-Fi antennas have been installed correctly there. OurSL and SLA model lines always have two external Wi-Fi antennas (2.4 GHz and 5.0GHz) for optimum reception. If these antennas have not been installed correctly or not at all, this can considerably limit the reception signal.
